ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Documentary β€˜The Watch Tower’

  I think this documentary was screened on possibly ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ2 and maybe other channels later on sometime between 1979 & 1985.
  It featured former RAF East Kirkby in Lincolnshire, and its history as a heavy bomber base during WW2 and the paranormal experiences people have experienced since.
  The main areas of the airbase covered by this documentary were the control tower, runways and hangers.
  It had interviews with the owner about his experiences at that time and also covered the tale of a USAF B17 that had crashed in a nearby field killing all the crew, who supposedly still walk to the control tower to ask why they were not allowed to land.
  
  I have hunted high and low to try to find a copy of this wonderful historical/paranormal documentary, does knows where I can find a copy or even if anyone remembers watching it I'd love to here from you.

  Have you tried contacting the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ documentary is mentioned on the website. I remember watching something on similar lines re the dead airmen. Sudden death can spark off this type of event. I recall somthing similar happining regarding an American crew who crashed over Derbyshire during WWII.

  I found the reference about the documentary of the site along with the other TV work etc that had been done.
  
  Still if I recall rightly I don't think it gave the name of the documentary, just "ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ documentary"
  
  I'm not sure how they would be able to help to be honest, if they have the documentary for sale in their shop I could by a copy but I doubt they will have to be honest.

  I was wrong it does say ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Documentary 'The Watch Tower'. Sadly its not on sale on the site.
  Looks like its going to be the search for the doc on the net which is harder than it seems.
