Having just watched 'Cash in the celebrity attic' with subject Lisa Riley, I cannot help but be amazed at some valuations given by John Cameron.
Amongst the usual trifles, were a Wehrmacht WWII German helmet, in good condition complete with interior and chinstrap, and a French brass-hilt sabre bayonet. He gave a valuation of Β£40 for the two together. I have seen sabre bayonets alone selling for Β£80, and as for the helmet, I haven't seen one in that condition for sale under Β£150-Β£200. Any comments?
