An interesting selection, but if we take away the fiction, ham acting, propaganda, and 'Mills and Boon' romances, we could easily cut the list to 20.
I do agree with the No. 1, and I would have placed 'Germany, Pale Mother', in the top 5.
Both films were very disturbing and upsetting, and any 'war' film should be just that.
And no, I'm not a pacifist, just a realist (well, most of the time !).
