Two of my great uncles died during and after the great war. Master Robert Murphy of the RNR died on board SS Lough Fisher march 30 1918 killed while in his lifeboat with his men. The uboat commander was charged and sent to prison for war crimes for 5 years. I'd like to get Roberts service records during the war. He was in the Royal navy before and I have those records but the RNR ones are hard to find.
Roberts Brother David Murphy served on Princess Royal during the battle of jutland and was injured he was in the Royal navy and died in 1922 of TB in the naval hospital at Plymouth after serving on other ships. I can't find his grave. Both brothers are from Ballywalter Co Down Northern Ireland.
