I am looking any websites with details as to the whereabouts of the above from April 1915 - 3 October 1916. This is just to trace movements of one of my ancestors George Bailey who died in France on 3 October 1916.
Any help would be appreciated.

Here you go:
Scroll down to 8th (Service) Bn K3 and follow the link beside it to 75th Brigade, 25th Division. If you then scroll up to the top of that screen, it gives a list of the engagements 25 Division was involved in. On 3 Oct 1916, it was engaged in the Battle of the Ancre Heights. (By the way, "K3" means the battalion was part of the third wave of 100,000 men recruited to Kitchener's New Army.)
Your best possible source would be the battalion's war diary, which is held by the National Archives:

Chrissy,
Checking the CWGC entry,George Bailey was with the 7th Battalion, which would place him with the 19th (Western) Division, though it was also involved at the Ancre Heights battle.

Chrissy,
I've found George's service record (going by his service number, 18810, which is quoted in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission entry) on the Ancestry website.
91 Norton St, West Gorton, Manchester. Age 26 years 6 months, married, when he was attested for the South Lancashire Regt on 26 April 1915. Occupation, moulder. Height 5'4". There's a casualty form headed TENTH Battalion. All I can read is: "Joined A Company [in the] field 11.9.16. Wounded 1.10.16. Died of wounds, France, 3.10.16.". The next screen is another casualty form which is indeed headed SEVENTH Battalion, and has some information about George's movements:
21.6.16 Embarked for 7/S.Lan.Rgt, Folkestone
10.2.16. Joined 19 I[nfantry]B[ase]D[epot], Etaples.
10.2.16. Joined Battn. Posted 'A' Coy, in Field.
25.2.16. 59 F[ield]A[mbulance] (Bronchitis)
25.2.16. XI Corps Rest Station
11.3.16 Rejoined Battalion
29.4.16. 59FA (scabies)
6.5.16 Rejoined Battalion
13.5.16 [illegible] Field Ambulance
20.5.16 To 2 Can[adian] C[asualty]C[learing]S[tation] (Boils Buttock [yes, seriously!])
31.5.16 Adm. 11 S[tationary]H[ospital], Boils Buttock
6.6.16 To England ex 11SH per SS "Aberdonian" (Boils Buttock).
Then there's a conduct sheet: 14.8.16. "Overstaying pass from Reveille until 3.20 a.m. 18.8.16: Shaving his upper lip without permission." 5 days' confinement to barracks and loss of pay awarded by his C.O. This was in England, at Prees Heath.
Obviously the two casualty reports are in reverse order, so on the face of it George started out with 7th South Lancs and went to the 10th Battalion after his return to France. Except that 10/South Lancs was a reserve battalion and never left the UK - Prees Heath, to be exact. So I guess he was posted to them after convalescing in England, then went back to 7/South Lancs, with whom he was killed.

That's brilliant Colonel!! I have his service record in my folder (I have a paper copy of everything too) but I couldn't read much of it - a lot of it was very feint. So thank you for that it makes very interesting reading, albeit quite sad as he was only very young.
