In the above book, there is a story of a small Japanese fleet, including an aircraft carrier vanishing without trace during W W 2. The U S navy say they did not sink it. Anybody know anything about this story?
What was the name of the carrier? Was she lost in a typhoon?

Will dig out the book.
Just checked through all the info I have on Japanese carries and they are all accounted for as either surviving the war or being sunk in action.

Same here. All the major carriers are accounted for.Unless by the word "carrier" it implies bulk carrier or such like.

Re: Message 1.
Grumpyfred,
You seems to enter the "paranormal" sites.
Warm regards,
Paul.
Thanks for that. The book is by Charles Berlitz, and is called Dragons Triangle. On page 24, it refers to the mass disappearance in early 1942 while on maneuvers close to the shores of Japan of a fleet of two small carriers (Unnamed) and three destroyers. (Also not named)
Grumpyfred,
yes, there was a lot about Charles Berlitz on these UFO sites too.
Warm regards from your friend,
Paul.
Greetings GrumpyFred,
I too have a book by Charles Berlitz, it's called the Burmuda Triangle and it's in my fiction section, where I suspect you should place the one you've just read.
You mean that it might not be the truth. SHOCK HORROR.
GrumpyFred,
Don't know what truth is; I still haven't recovered from reading Erasmus of Rotterdam, but The Bermuda Triangle will remain in that section along with the Churchwards, von Danikins and the Hubbards until proven otherwise. Keep reading, the TRUTH is out there somewhere. Salutations.
A lot of the troubles in both triangles can be put down to the fact that ships don't float on methane gas.
Greeting grumpyFred,
As more ships have met their watery grave in the English Channel I'm looking forward to the publication of 'The Yarmouth Triangle' or perhaps 'The Medway Mysteries' or the 'Brighton and Hove Horrors' ... sorry that's already a football team.
What about jepedy. I don' t know where it is, but lots of things seem to happen there.
"...What about jepedy..."
Ah, but that is a good place. It is, after all, where all the jobs are now.
Yarmouth on the English Channel ? These triangles are elastic.
Tim Track, there's a Yarmouth on the I O W, as well as Great Yarmouth on the east coast.
