    Hello,

I hope you'll excuse me posting this on a number of boards but I'm keen for information before making a trip to the National Archives.. I think it sort of fits within the remit of the Wars and Conflicts board as it's about the Navy

Does anybody know anything about Parryville?

I found it when looking up my Great Great Great Grandad on the 1861 census. It looks as though everyone who lived there was in the forces - mostly Naval.

Was Parryville some kind of naval housing base? Would the people that worked there have been based at Pembroke Docks accross the estuary, or was that not a naval base?

Thanks for any information you can give me on this.Β
