I am searching for information on a plane crash
The plane crash happened on Sept 6, 1943.
It was a American B-17. It was shot down in Chartres, France. I have not been able to
locate a crash site yet. Does any one have
any information on how to research these type of plane crashes?

if you are still watching the thread, try the google, for, raf command, it will give you a page of messages
