Hi,
I am doing my dissertation on the topic of evacuation in the Second World War. I am particularly interested in gaining information on those who were evacuated to Shropshire, from places such as Liverpool and Smethwick. I would love to hear from anyone who was an evacuee, who took in evacuees or anyone with any relevant information. Any help would be appreciated!
Hi Rachel,
You may find something useful in this,
Good luck with the work.
Cheers, Nielsen
Rachel :
I wonder if the Great Chinn might have done some work on evacuation of children from Birmingham etc?
Hi Urnungal,
I wonder if Rachel has bothered to come back and read the answers ...
Perhaps I wonder whether one in the future should bother attempting to answer these 'One question wonders' who never seem to reply.
Just a grunt from Nielsen
I have read the replies and I just wanted to say thank you to those who have replied for taking the time to offer help. It's much appreciated.
