What happened after WW11 to the german army was it completely disbanded and built under the allies and what happened to the germans in East Germany with the russians. I know alot of the SS was sought after but what happened to the wehrmacht.

It was not until 1955, that the West German Federal Republic was allowed armed forces again.
Within the purely defensive framework of being a NATO member.
Even today, there are quite strong restrictions in German law, on the extra NATO deployments of forces, though this has become more flexible since the end of the Cold War.
German troops can and do deploy outside NATO, but generally in peacekeeping as part of a coalition.
