Can anyone tell me the WW2 film where Caen is being bombed and a man in the French Resistance runs into the hospital and gathers up blood stained sheets and lays them on the ground in a courtyard in the shape of a red cross so that can be seen from the air? This action prevented the hospital from being bombed. I remember seeing the film a few years ago but cannot recall what it was called.
A bbc film called D day.
