BRUCE PENDANT

  I have found an heraldic horse harness pendant in the bannockburn area, it has the bruce coat of arms on it I am trying to contact neil oliver about this and to send him a photo of it but no joy,can anyone help me get intouch,

  Hi Spooksearch, sorry cant help you get in touch with Neil but was interested by your post.
  
  I used to work at the Bannockburn Heritage Centre and was interested to know where exactly in Bannockburn you found the pendant, did you find it with a metal detector.
  I can recall someone bringing a sword to the centre that they had found near the burn - but it was far too late to be of Bannockburn time - turned out to be 18th century.
  
  You might want to contact the centre itself - they might be able to help you.

  Thans K. O. F.I will contact the centre this week,I found it at a M-D rally in september cant remember the exact name of the location but it was not far from the centre the site was high up overlookig a housing estate.I once found a simon frazer pendant,he fought alongside the bruce at the battle I handed it in to the NMS who after a year gave me Β£75 for it,what a kick in the teeth eh.

  hi spooksearch, just wondering out of interest if ye had any luck finding out any more information about the Bruce pendant that you found? Were the guys at Bannockburn helpful?
