War Film Search

  Hello,
  
  Can anyone help - I am looking for 3 films but am not having any success:
  
  1) Heroes - WW2 mission to destroy Jap shipping
  2) Heroes 2 - sequel to above
  3) Great Escape 2 - about the escape of the few who were not executed.
  
  Does anyone have these films or know how to get them?

  USe the Internet Movie Database - this usually tells you if a film is available and in what format.
  
  Use the IMDb 'search' option - full of info and if you become a member you can add your own comments.
  
  Includes links to director/actor/ biogs etc and vety much more - you can spend hours in there! Locations, film history..... Also quite a lot on TV.
  
  In the UK the 'British Film Institute' website is a good socurce of info for films and whether they are available on VHS DVD etc.
  
  Also AMAZON of course - and eBay...
  
  On the High Street stores like Vigin, Waterstones keep quite an eclectic range and will do a secrch for you and will probably get in a film in for you if it is available.
  
  The Tesco wesbite sells a lot more than they keep in their stores re: books and DVDs

  Heroes1 and its sequel Heroes2 are available on Video and by now will, I am almost certain, be also available on DVD.
  
  I have got the two films on video.
  
  I would suggest to you to try the Australian websites in trying to obtain the films.
  
  As the operation was Australian and the film was made in Australia,it stands to reason that you to obtain the films here in the UK is very remote.
