could anyone tell me ,wat was the total number of death from the war was ? was their any irish included within that number ?
there was 55 million people that died
-25 million miltary
-30 million civilians
i dont no where they came from

The total number of deaths from WW2 could be somewhere in the region of 40-50 million - that's military and civilian.
When you think there were 6mil Jews killed and about 25 mil Soviet citizens killed and then a good few million Europeans caught up as casualties of war.
Also you have to include the many civilians killed in the far east under Japanese rule - most of whom came from China (if you include the entire period of Japanes rule over China (1931-1945) the number is incalcuble).
What is scary is how many of these people's fates are unknown and most people don't care either.
