    PBS Frontline:--- R-U-M-S-F-E-L-D-S----W-A-R---

This masterly documentary coming out from the best America has in the field, PBS in Boston, with numerous co-productions with the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ in the past, is a must see. It was broadcast in America in October 2005, and are now available as a free streaming download in 6 parts. Presumably devided along all ready existing commercial breaks lines, but also to make it more difficult for anyone wishing to burning it on a DVD, this film shows Rumsfelds background as a wrestler at his university(). It features numerous interviews with many military brass people at the Pentagon, furious at the way this civilian has been going about his re-shaping and stripping of Authority of the very military people who knows all about war, and how you need several hundred thousand troops to occupy a country the size of Iraq.

The only rather ingeneous way Rumsfeld did, was in the aghanistan war, where just 200 covert agents on horsebacks where plotting bomb-targets. This was new to me - that so few americans were in at that time. But one then has to remember the stalemate that the Northern Alliance was in towards the Taliban, and that it just needed a little push on the side of the Northern Alliance( those people the CIA knew from the days they were fighting the Soviets) before they could march into Kabul without one shot being fired.

Well, it is a bit recent i will give you that, but there have been several threads on this subject recently, being actualised by the upcoming deployment of NATO troops in the violent Helmand province. And I am asking: Given that several hundred thousands of troops are needed to secure a ny country the size of Aghanistan (Karzai is sometimes referred to as 'The Mayor of Kabul')and Iraq for that matter, what exactly are we doing there, if the locals don't want us, and if we are not ready to deploy the troops that is needed to secure the place?

Yes I know I know, twice as many as perished at Sabra and Chatilla and its aftermath, died in WTC on 9/11, but what about adressing the real problems for a start?

Nick, what do you think about Iran's 'product of culture' who has launched his campaign against Jewish Holocaust among those who have never heard about WWII and seen a Jew to cover his plans of creating his own nuclear weapons.
I am hardly to believe that Iran needed in A-energy stations having in its disposal the richest reserves of gas&oil.

    No,

I think he's spent too long reading extremist websites, and actually believes all the sad conspiracy theories he keeps spouting.
