I hope someone here can help me
I looking for a place in Kent that can mount my medals for wearing. I don't want to send them in the post in case they lost. I hope that someone can help
Hi Bob,
I'd have a look in the phone book to see if you have a medal dealer nearby! Since they sell medals they usually either mount them themselves or have a reputable supplier.
I did the same for mine (I'm up in Norfolk though) and found it much easier than posting away-no stress from them possibly getting lost!
Alternatively if you're pretty good at that sort of thing yourself, you can get replacement ribbons off Ebay (both full size and miniatures). I tried that one myself but couldn't get them to look right so had them done properly!

Bob,
You could also try the PRI (President of the Regimental Institute) shops in any barracks (Chatham, Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone). Look up the military switchboard in the phone book and when through to the operator ask for the guardroom. When you get through there, ask for the number of the PRI. Most of these places work on very limited hours so be sure to ask when it is best to call. They will be cheaper than a dealer and will give you the peace of mind of being able to deliver and collect.
hi bob
you could try www.awardmedals.com were on request and for a small fee they will send you a do it yourself medal holder which fits into your breast pocket, hope this helps
