Scoring on the roman scenario seems a bit strange as far as I can work out the top score should be 4400 but the top score listed is 4840? I can get 4140 but can't find a way of getting any higher! Help please.
Hi hoagy66k
I'm afraid that I can't answer your question, but perhaps you could help me out? In the first scenario of Battlefield Academy I have never managed to stop the Romans from breaking down the nearest gate of the hill fort. I've tried various tactics and none of them worked.
What is the secret?
Regards, L Jackson
Note to hosts: eh?
Sorry neither have I (which is probably why I can't get a higher score than I can (the gate being an extra target). I have come close a couple of times by keeping 1 warband on the other side and managing to keep the roman legionary on the other at a low level of stregth so he can't batter the gate down. The problem is I cant get my other troups round the flanks quick enough to prevent a balister moving in for the kill!
Mind you this is the only gate I lose, and the warband behind it is strong enough to prevent the romans infiltrating the fort even when the gate has gone.
Like you I'm a bit stuck on how to improve having tried most things.
