Hi. New to this group, and am seeking help. I am writing a long term project. It follows a family in a city called Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Port (Liverpool) from 1910 to present day. I am trying to find out for my story. (1) When did the first British Born Black man serve in the R.A.F. I want to put him in the gun turret of a Boulton Paul Defiant. And (2) does anybody know where WRENS did their basic training and then officer training in 1939. (3) Where did Airmen do the basic training in June 1939, then their Aircrew selection and training. For any help.Thanks.
