I have seen two bbc programs that feature this amazing chap. I have been quite inspired, in fact his recollections brough a tear to my eye, even though I was born in 68 and have never before been remotely interested in Wars etc. Does anyone know how I can get in touch, I really want to thank him for what he did. A true hero.
His book 'Bob Doe, Fighter Pilot' is published by CCB Aviation Books. You could try them. Alternatively you could try the Battle of Britain Historical Society.
Thanks for the advice - appreciated.
