Hi all,
Im trying to locate the family of frederick Muspratt on the 1851 or 1861 census. The 1851 census entries would be more useful.
Frederick was born in Heytesbury, Wiltshire. He married an Anne Abery who was born in Chitterne, Wiltshire. He was born in 1825. Im particulary interested in any children he had. My Great x3 grandmother was born in 1852 in Trowbridge, so they should be in that area.
Many thanks
JF
In 1861 census, Fredderick was still living in Heytesbury with a daughter, Anne age 12. He was a cordwainer employing 1 man and 1 boy.
Hope it helps
Mike
The IGI has the extracted record of one child born to this couple, Frederica Elizabeth Anne Muspratt christened 04 JAN 1846 at Chitterne-All-Saints, Wiltshire.

Thanks DrakesPipe,
Did he have his wife or any others with him? As far as im aware, he was bankers clerk and not a cordwainer !
Does it say where Ann was born?
Cheers

Thanks Spike,
You have just added some further siblings to my tree. Just out of interest, i have a Jane being born to them in 1858 at Trowbridge, does she appear on the 1871 census? And where did Anne go, as mention on the previous post. She was born in 1849?.
I think the 1851 census, should explain.
Thanks
JF

Hi Grumpy,
Could not find either Jane or Anne Muspratt on the 1861, 71, 81, 91 and 1901 census that match your details ie date or place of birth. How sure are you of these details?

Hi Spike,
Very sure that these people exsisted. i know Ann def did. She was Fredericks first wife. He then married an Emmeline something. Jane could be a middle name for one of the other children, but not sure.
Thanks for you help, i think the 1851 census mught solve it.
Regards
James
