Also trying to find my maternal gt-grandfather - Henry Charles CHAPMAN as a boy.

His marriage cert from July 1902 gives his residence as 31 Salisbury Street, London, his age as 25 and his father's name is also Henry.
    Both Henry's worked with horses.

I've looked on 1901 census and no Chapmans are at the Salisbury Street Address then.

I've taken Henry's age to be correct so birth about 1877, but I can't be certain I've found him on the 1881 census.

I'm not so much after a lookup, more any relatives! I was told that Henry Charles was one of twins but none of the records from 1881 that I've seen suggest this. There are no Chapmans as witnesses to the Wedding which would have been a lead.

I'm hoping that someone out there is related as I can't believe that this particular Henry was an only child.

The family presumably grew up in the area so I'm looking under 'Middlesex' on the census records.

    Any relatives out there???
