I'm looking for any information regarding leah Arrowsmith born 1866 in Aston, she had a son William George Arrowsmith 1896 who is my great grandfather, but this is the only information I have about her.
This appears to be her family in 1871, at 24 Peal Street. Her name is transcribed as Leal, but it is Leah on the image. Son James is unmarried but son George is a widower so it is likely at least some of the children are his. There are 2 grandsons called George, so at least one grandchild probably has different parents. William and James are filemakers, George is a lockmaker.
Leah also appears on the 1881 census, which you can check yourself for free at familysearch.org. I can't immediately find her in 1891 or 1901 - is it possible she married?

she seems to be a total mystery, as far as my nan remembers she never married, but always talked about a corporal Green? Maybe she married him? She lived until her late 90's, but nobody is alive in the family who knows anything more.
Thanks for your help
