Hi
looks as though this will possibly be my last posting on here [thanks Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ], but thanks to all who have helped me in the past.
I have another query for you. I cannot find WILLIAM TOWSEY born abt 1778 place unknown on 1841/51/61 censii I believe he may have died about 1861.
He married MARGARET POWELL, born 1795, Blackfriars, 1812, BETHNAL GREEN.
In 1841 Margaret Towsey is living Paradise Row, Southwark with 3 children JOHN TOWSEY 1825, SOUTHWARK, HENRY TOWSEY 1831, SOUTHWARK, AND SARAH 1837 LAMBETH.
I cannot find Margaret 1851/61. She died 1867
The Towsey name does seem to get mis transcribed.
Any help would be much appreciated -

Family search has this burial but I can't find a corresponding entry on the death index. Its possible he died elsewhere

a tree on Ancestry has Margarets death as 13 Jun 1867, to get that I would assume they have the death cert....
It might be a good idea to contact the tree owner markwardrobe1
beware though, several other trees have William and Margaret having kids all over the place! -

you may want to look sideways to go back on William
In 1811 at the same church as William and Margaret married in Bethnal Green, an Elizabeth Towsey married Thomas Maris
they also went on to live in Southwark
