Only a few days left for someone to rescue me on this................
WILLIAM JACKSON married MARY SAY at Welney St.Marys on December 30th 1781. Can anyone reading this get me back to when he was Born/Baptised? Even more fantastic would be to secure the names of his parents!!
The Jackson Name is quite common but I would be soooooooooo grateful if you could get me some answers or pointers (info.sources) to get me right back to the early 1700s. Please. Thankyou - Fridaybridge

Earlier this week I had some fantastic help from someone on the Berkshire Forum Board at Roots Chat that enabled me to get back from 1808 to before 1710.

If you're not already a member at Roots Chat, I'd suggest you join and check out their county boards.

    Best of luck.

Thankyou to all who have really 'helped' me via this web site. I am using rootschat which of course is just brilliant!! My user name there is tjack.
Only a matter of days left so here goes JUST IN CASE anyone has a clue about my WILLIAM JACKSON's family background.
I've just discovered that a large number of JACKSONS resided in LITTLEPORT (Cambs) in the early 1600's then, WOW, I found a WILLIAM JACKSON baptised Littleport (St.Georges Church) on May 19th 1741.
Only problem for me is that this might be too early - I was hoping to find a 'Birth/Baptism' for him around 1748. Anyone like to comment before the lines go down?? This Littleport William had parents John and Anne Jackson. As usual I may be clutching at straws BUT maybe YOU have something to add on this one. Happy Christmas to All who read this. Fridaybridge.
PS. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ. Please 'review' your decision soon. Let's have this amazing facility back ASAP.
