That one looks impossible as it is too far away by date sorry
Edna
thankyou very much
The 1861 census has them living in Cheddington. Their eldest child is 2 year old Ellen also born Cheddington. Withe them is a James Stevens down as grandfather b 1775 Cheddington. That may be the way to go for earlier censuses.
Jo
In 1851 James is with wife Mary. Living in the same household is George Waters aged 14 b Cheddington and marked as Son in Law, so assuming step son, or something. There has been a line drawn between The Stevens and the Brigenshaw family who George appears to be with, but the line has been crossed out. So looks as if James Stevens is some relation to George rather than Emma.
Jo
thanks very much but i realsed that this marriage was way too late for their date of marriage thanks again
Trying a different tack and looking for an Emma born 1834 Ivinghoe there is an Emma Simonds 17 in 1851 daughter of Daniel and Ann.
Emma Meacher 16 in 1851 daughter of Edward and Charlotte.
Emma Cook 18 in 1851 who is a servant.
Emma Short 19 in 1851 daughter of Edward and Sarah.
**Emma Parsons 19 in 1851 daughter of John and Elizabeth**
**Checking the marriages for all the above how about this one George Waters Fountain?? About the right time and place.
