Trying to find a Clara M Hinder birth/early life. All I have is a marriage entry for said Clara in Swindon Wilts in 1920 but I can't find a corresponding birth.

I have looked on the 1911 and there are a couple of candidates, one Swindon, one Middlesex but they both seem to be with husbands and babies.

I guess she could have been married before and Hinder isn't her birth name smiley - erm

I have just checked on my 'ladies' who remarried. My Nan remarried in 1937 and it gives both names. Her husband mother remarried in 1923 at which time only her married name was given. So I suppose it could be one of the two found in 1911. Both are early twenties, so possible.

Looking for deaths may glean info.

Have you found a death for her, and if so where and when ? I am thinking that should give a possible date of birth to help narrow the search.

Possible death for her in 1959 birth year 1888 but that's in Devon so not where I would expect.

The Clara May in Swindon looks promising but I couldn't see a death for Percy leaving her free to marry again, unless they divorced.

This is the 1920 marriage for info.
