Hi everybody, being a recent newcomer to this website - I would firstly like to
say thankyou to all those who have responded with enormous amounts of information in helping me make advances and fill in many blank spaces on my family tree.
However, there is still a long way to go to completion (if that is ever achievable!)

Can anyone help find more information (exact DOBs,locations, parents etc)

    I have the following information:

Edward Hanlon, born c.1848, possibly in Armagh, Ireland.
He married Ellen Mulholland on 26.12.1867 at St. Mary's Chapel, Lanchester.
    He was a Wharf/Dock Labourer.
He died on 11.04.1902 at 8 Nixon Street, Middlesbrough.
I believe his fathers name was Patrick Hanlon, I do not have the name of his mother.

Ellen Mulholland, born c. 1850, location not known.
She died on 07.12.1903 also at 8 Nixon Street, Middlesbrough.
Her parents were George Mulholland and Hannah Karr (but not 100% sure)

    Their 8 children were:
    Bridget (b.1867, d.-),
    Patrick (b.1868, d.-),
    Margaret (b.1871, d. 1916), Middlesbrough),
    Hannah (b.1873, d.-),
    Charles (b.1875, d. 1895, Middlesbrough),
    Michael (b.1877. d. 1896, Middlesbrough),
    Edward (b.1879. d.-)
    Mary (b. 08.05.1881 - d.25.09.1922, Middlesbrough).
Mary (08.05.1881) - the a/m children appear to have all been born in
County Durham - Berry Edge and Middlesbrough.

5 of the a/m children also later married as follows:

Bridget married John Matthews in 1889 in Middlesbrough.
Hannah married Joseph Leonard in 1899 in Middlesbrough
Mary Hanlon married Charles Greenwood on 03.07.1899 in Middlesbrough
Margaret married John Sharkey in 1912 in Middlesbrough

That seems to be a lot of info - however, there are still many blank spaces that need filling. So it would be greatly appreciated if you could help in any way
possible with your observations or additional info.

    regards
    bg

    Hi bishenbertie,

many thanks for your postings - that should keep me busy today with cross-referencing etc. But anything else that you may discover concerning the a/m would be great too.
Any joy on the exact birth dates of the a/m?

    regards

This is an interesting option for 1871.

Details are a little askew but worth a look as there is a George who could be Ellens father with them. They have him born Derby but it says Ireland so I think it's Derry.

This could be death of Ellens mother.
