Is this lady still alive? If she is, the rules of this board do not allow us to dscuss living people, I'm afraid.

Hello and welcome to the board

Your posts will be slow to appear as they are in moderation but we will see them shortly.
If you come back and this question is about adoption or other delicate matters and the person may still be living then you can join Family Tree Forum free of charge and they have a section which is for sensitive research and also a personal message system where you can contact me if you want to and I will advise what is best to do. Same user name there too clematised

1925 there were no legal adoptions just private family or friends or arranged through other means so nothing official, do you have more information but remember not to use information of living people as bbc dont allow it.

Yes I know Familysearch, I just wondered if this is how the poster heard of the lady, but usually they give a family tree with the information too.

New remake series is on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ2 and a thread started OTR( rootschat) about it with FF on again.

    Hello Edna!

Yes, I wondered that too. The message from the OP is their first on these boards, and indicates they have only just become aware of the person.

Interesting one last night -even though it had a very sad outcome.

Hadn't seen thread OTR - will have a look.

This case seems to have been settled as it is no longer on the Bona Vacantia list. I am confused as the 'Heir Hunters' would normally provide a family tree to anyone who signed up with them and if someone puts their own claim in to the Treasury Solicitor then they would need to get the birth, marriage and death certificates as would the 'Heir Hunters' . Other claimants would have to be of Full-Blood or Half-Blood. the Bona Vacantia website has a family tree of whom can claim.

Until the original poster returns dmatt no one will know the answer as we are wondering how they just found out about the named person and I am assuming it may have been via a Bona Vicantia case as in the one I found.

It may be something else entirely so we will have to wait and see.
