I am looking for the marriage of Henry Evans b.1841 to Agnes McQueren.
I can tell you that their first 2 children Margaret c.1870 & Jane c.1871 were born in Leith Scotland. However,a further 4 children were born Salford,Lancs between 1873 & 1879.The family were living 41 Tipton St Openshaw Manchester at 1881c.
Sorry I don't have any credits for scotlands people but I did a free search as follows:
Henry Evans married in Midlothian 1868
not sure how Agnes spelt her surname but the match above was using
surname starting McQue...
further searching reveals she is down as MCQUEEN, so perhaps there is a transcription error on the 1871 census
both Margaret and Jane's baptisms are on Familysearch pilot site using parents Henry Evans and Agnes Mcqueen
