On familysearch have found some baptisms but not all the children Surely they would of all been baptised?
Parents John Trenaman Tucker and Elizabeth Jane Poad
James baptised 19 May 1861 St Dominick Cornwall
Sarah Jane baptised 10 Aug 1862
William baptised 18 Feb 1866
John baptised 12 Jan 1868
Thomas Trenaman born 1869 cannot find a baptism
Mary Hannah baptised 1873 no date
Samuel Trenaman born 1876 nothing
Edward born 1878 nothing (family moved to St Mellon)
Martin Trenamen born 1880 nothing
Edmund born 1881 nothing
Elizabeth Ellen born 1883 nothing.
Any help would be appreciated

Looking on the Cornwall OPC site, St Mellions baptisms have been transcribed up to 1880, which is why I guess your later ones aren't there. Maybe Familysearch haven;t caught up with the pre 1880 one (or they were baptised elsewhere or there was a move to non-conformism)

Cornwall was a hotbed of nonconformity! Many of the nonconformist sects did not believe in infant baptism. Quite possibly the family was C of E and baptised the first children, then joined a chapel where baptism was postponed until teens or adulthood.

Yes anisel,
I have Quaker who did not baptise children too just had birth witnessed by a member of the sect but these children were late enough to be registered.

Thanks for looking, either they moved chapels or not baptised. But inclined to think that familysearch do not have all their baptisms as they did not have Thomas's but had Mary who was born afterwards, althought no date only year.
