I'm looking for information about the woman who gave birth to me. I am particularly interested in records of Manor Farm in the Cheltenham area in 1950. Can anyone help?

Hello Parsnips and welcome to the message board.
Have you tried the records office to see if they hold any information?
Hello and welcome to the board Parsnips,
As this is a sensitive question I refer all adoption or similar questions to Family Tree Forum where there is a special page where it is shielded from the prying eyes of search engines and you can start up a thread there and get help and also they have a private message system where people can send you a message to get the information to help you.
I am a member there too and have the same user name ande it is free to join

I should have said that you are entitled to ask your local social services for your adoption file and they will get it for you or get in touch with the GRO Southport to get your birth cert details and they will offer you advice on how to seek help too.

I;m a complete novice at this and haven't really got a clue. Is there a website or do I visit the records office?
