Hi all, I have been searching for a marriage for Annie Emily Enefer, born 1912 in West Ham, London I am assuming she married Thomas Francis Dobson b 1892 in Canning Town the father of their 10 children, the first child was born in 1936. any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Birth March 1912 West Ham 4a434
Annie E Enefer mothers maiden name King
Edna
Can't see a marriage mimi but I can see birth of first child and it does say mothers maiden name Enefer. Leads to them being married but not necessarily.
Surname First name(s) Spouse District Vol Page
Marriages Dec 1914
Dunstone William J Enefer Croydon 2a 636
Enefer Annie E Dunstone Croydon 2a 636
Edna
Yes, Annie's mothers maiden is King. I was thinking that they might not have got married but they had 10 kids so I would have thought they would have got married eventually.
Dates are wrong for this couple as your birth was 1912 and that marriage 1914
a son was born to the couple above in 1926
I will take another look
Edna
Hi Edna,
Annie was born in 1912 so I don't think this is it.
It could be that Thomas Dobson had been previously married, as he was so much older. And that he wasn't in a position to marry Annie.
Drawn a blank on that one I'm afraid. Maybe someone with access to different records will have more luck. Perhaps they didn't marry in England or Wales.
Thank you all for your help, perhaps I may eventually track down their children and get the answer I'm looking. Once again thank you all for your help.

All 10 are listed with MMN Enefer from 1936 onwards.
Thank you all for your help. I have now found the names of 10 children, I did find two marriages for a Thomas Dobson to different people but could be that he was already married but separated and never got divorced and that would explain why no marriage certificate. Once again many thanks.
