    Edward born 1812 in Charlwood Surrey. Marries Martha Glover in 1850. He dies in 1873. Can't find Martha after that can anyone else ?

    Arthur Shattock b c1848 so think John Mathews looks like your man. A possible here

    Is this her and Edward in 1871? I see a Martha Matthews in 1881 with husband John, she says she's born Charwood Surrey ........ But I also see them in 1861 too , but Martha has a different place of birth , though I suppose John first wife was a Martha too
