Thanks to all replies to my previous query but I am no further forward. This lady was born 17/12/1904 in Belfast and gave her daughter up for adoption after a few weeks. She married Andrew Dunn in 1929 and divorced later. We are trying to find out where she lived and died. Apart from trying electoral registers I would appreciate some ideas. Cheers!
So you are looking for a death for an Ida May Dunn sometime after 1929?
Do you know whereabouts she married?
How long was she married to Mr Dunn? She may have married again and have died under another name.
I can't see the 1929 marriage - was it in Ireland?
There are a few possible deaths and a possible remarriage but without having a part of the country to go on

The marriage took place in Belfast as far as I know on 25/02/1929 and divorce was sometime after 1935. Sorry I cannot be more preceise. I am doing this for a lady of 76 with Parkinsons. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Joyce
If she remained in Ireland then this probably isn't her (is the lady you are helping living in Ireland?) but there is a marriage after 1935 in Stourbridge district for an Ida M Dunn. Plus a possible child from that marriage. I won't post the details in case too recent but you can find both on Free BMD
If she has married under the maiden name Dunn and it is her then she will probably say she is a spinster on the marriage cert as I have this twice in my FH where I know the details given were false to cover up a previous marriage even to give the fathers name details as the right first name but wrong surname for her father and correct job description for him.
There is a birth of a son in 1941

Thank you, I will follow this up. Can you let me know details of the child please?
Joyce
Can you elaborate on the birth of a son in 1941, please?
Joyce

You can make contact with these people to see if they have any information on her but it will cost you about Β£10 to join but they may no longer be active on there.

Hi, Thanks for that but cannot find which website you went into to find info. Previous marriage report in Stourbridge failed to be correct (Dudley RO very helpful). Found Dublin on Family Search but could not find grooms.
