For those of you interested in Irish research, FMP's Irish site has started up a Forum section with various message boards. You can see it on
I am trying so hard to find my Great grand father's history but finding IRISH ancestors is impossible.
I hope the site you mention works????

I suppose like here it depends on who's looking in on the day and who has time to take on a puzzle. The Irish scene can be tricky but not always as impossible as it might look.
Have you posted your own Irish problem here before? Naybe try it again as well as FMP and of course rootschat.
Advice...
Many of the records are freely available elsewhere, you just have to look for them!
i.e Griffiths Valuation has been free for years and has its own excellent site with maps.
