    Joseph's marriage:

    Name: JACKSON, Joseph
    Registration District: Birmingham
    County: Warwickshire
    Year of Registration: 1889
    Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
Spouse's last name: Not available before 1912

CROMPTON, Florence Frances E was married in same district in same quarter so almost certainly these are your Joseph and Florence.

    Hi

There is a tree on A***try giving detail of this family.

It gives Florence as Florence F Crompton, as you state in your mesage. It also gives the parents of Joseph Jackson, and also the parents of Joseph's father. So, someone is also researching your family.

Don't know if you have access to the site, may be worth taking temporary membership to contact owner of the tree.

Is the Royal Oak a pub? The Cromptons had pub connections around that area.

Have looked at the 1861 census entry again and find that TRAVLER is a mis-transcription. On the original it is definitely TRANTOR.

    Hi,

I'm also trying to find the Jackson family, I.e. my father Frederick Jackson, born 1909. On his death certificate place of birth Selly Oak, Birmingham. If you have any details you think might help me, I would be very pleased, as nowhere can I find him on the websites.

    Thank you, Brenda

Hello Brenda. I am not sure your Frederick is part of the same Jackson family i was researching, for a friend, not my family.

Do you have his birth cert? This Jackson family was from the Aston area.
