I am researching the Arnold family who lived in Chatham, Kent.
Some of the children were sent to Canada as Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Children. Is anyone else researching this family? I am happy to share my research.
    Many thanks.

    Hello Irene,

Have you tried genes reunited for living rellie contacts as it is unlikely that you will find contacts here.
I like tweetybird genealogy for researching Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ children as I has a search box for names and lots of links to helpful websites

also I like familysearch for parish records too www.familysearch.org then scroll down to Europe below the boxes for filling in click and this opens a new page select the one you want like England Births and baptisms, then make sure you select advanced then select baptism do not leave ANY as I t doesnt work then add details and if nothing comes up remove some details and widen the years

You can put the parish in if you know it and just the familyname to see more hits.

    Edna

Many thanks for your reply Edna.
I have a vast tree for this family and have been researching them for many years. However, there are missing links especially regarding the mother of the children sent to Canada. I was hoping that someone else many be researching the family and we could share information.
    Regards
    Irene

Thanks for the offer Edna - I have tried Genes, been a member since it started.
Will just have to keep plodding on. I am off to Canada in the Spring to visit one of the descendants of the original children who were sent there.
    Regards
    Irene
