Heard about this site which has just gone live. It enables you to post your old photos and link them direct to the current street view if appropriate. You can also leave your own memories of areas and places. Whilst it is a British site, you can also link to places all over the world Looks well worth keeping an eye on

Thanks Jack for the link to this fantastic site. I've been having great fun uploading old family photos & love the way you can superimpose some of them onto the map with Streetview. I had a photo of my GG-grandparent's shop in Farsley, Yorkshire & managed to find it on Streetview. It's now a residential house but has barely changed.

Hum. Lovely, I thought, I'll zoom orf and see if there are any photos of my home town in the Midlands.
There's only one photo and it's of a sea view.
The tide from Skeggy must have been in a long way that day, eh?
