Does anyone know how to get information from Keenaught Chapel at Desertmartin, my grandfather was baptized there in 1892, his family was from around Carncose which is between Desertmartin and Moneymore
Is this the church? If so, why not give them a call and ask where the registers for that period are kept?

Thank you,I will try and write to the church first as I live in the states. I have written different people in Ireland with no reply back, maybe I will get someone to answer, again thank you for the information.

Good luck
His name was Hugh McLernon baptized July 28 1892 St. Patrick's Church Keenaught Chapel, he had a sister her name was Sara McLernon, she was born on Sept. 8 1893 in Carncose, Moneymore County Derry. I believe that Hugh and Sara's grandmother (Margaret (McElwee) McLernon) is buried at Keenaught or at least there is a grave marker outside the wall of the church with her name on it. I think Hugh and Sara's parents were John and Sara (McKeown) McLernon. Thanks to anyone who may be able to verify this information
