An ancestor of my wife is Robert MAY, b.about 1798 who married Mary Ann ???, b.about 1811. The dates are estimated from 1881 census.
They originate from Scrubbs near Bisley, Gloucs. Is anyone else researching this name who could possibly supply details of marriage, please ?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have details of the Mays from 1851 census. The head is Robert May, 50 and his wife, Mary aged 40. This is the family I am researching and it is the marriage of these two that I am interested in. Thanks again.

I do not think this is the marriage that you are looking for, not the right place?? but just incase.
Robert May, married a Mary Ann Roilison September 1/4 1843 in Stourbridge.
