I am trying to trace my Grandfathers regiment he was born 1903 and died 1959 and was in the 65th field Battery R.A. I know that he was in indian for 10 years and made Captin before he left the Army. I would like to know anything about his life in the army. Thank you

If he started in the British Army serving in India then his record should be at The National Archives, Kew. If he started in the Indian Army then the British Library holds the former India Office records.
