I've been putting it to good use already.
So have I, but some of the transciption errors are appalling. One of my ancestors birthplace was given as Himtrysaya when it was clearly Huntingdon on the census.
I heard that it was done on the cheap in India! That explains a lot!
Yes, I'm having a little problem too, it couldn't even find a "Thomas Cook" 1837 Clerkenwell, London - not one! Eventually had to revert to trawling London to find him but there was nothing wrong with the transcription when I did find him.
I'm hoping its just teething trouble and will get sorted soon.
Anyone else noticed 1861 intermittently disappearing?
