An Ancestor of my wife was Robert May, b.c.1798 who married a Mary Ann ???? who was b.c.1811. They had 8 children, the first of whom, Alfred was born in 1836. Does anyone know when and where Robert and Mary Ann were married, please?

Having found Robert and Mary Ann May on the 1861 census. They were both born in Bisley, their children were all born in Bisley and they were still living in Bisley Gloucs... I would hazard a guess and say they were married in Bisley.
The IGIs online for Bisley only go up to 1812 so you will need to consult the parish registers and I think it would be safe to start with Bisley.
