Tried everything I know to trace my grandmother but cant find any info.....details so far are :-
Maud Hammond Married Frank Gimber May 7 1914 aged 21..in Kent. Maud's father was Matthew James Hammond who's profession was a painter....
If anyone could find any info would be really gratful......
PS searched 1837 and 1901 census
Hi waveyone,
Do you know where Maud was born also did she have a middle name? There is a few Mauds out there and it would help narrow down the field.
Regards
Spike

Spike
Eastry Kent is the right location but on the marriage cert Maud father's occupation was a painter...I am sorry the info above is all i know...
Hi waveyone,
Not much success I'm afraid Did Maud Hammond's marriage certificate say she was 21 or over 21 also what was the address of the bride on the marriage certificate if you have it?
The marriage as you say was in 1914 in Eastry, Kent to a Frank Gimber who was born in the September 1/4 of 1894 also in Eastry (on 1837)
I have not been able to find a Matthew James Hammond of the right year i.e 1875 +/- 5 years unless you know if he could have been older or where he may have lived.
Sorry not much help to you
Regards
Spike
