Hi,
Not sure if this is going to help you but if you go to Leedsindexers.co.uk under the surname beginning E there is someone researching a John William Millward from Leeds... They look like they could have lots more family info - certainly worth contacting them. I searched the web using the search string 'Millward Leeds' always worth a go I have uncovered alot of family history this way.
1901 census:
1 Wentworth Terrace, East Ward, Leeds
Mr Millward 50 general labourer
Mrs Millward 43
David son 12 messenger boy
John son 10
Tom son 8
Mary dau 15 tailoress
Perty ? dau 5
All born Leeds
RG13/4213 ED19 folio 143 page 26
1891
1881 Census
David Millward head 25 sugar packer
Betsy Millward wife 29
10 Trustee Walk East Ward Leeds
RG11/4514 ED39 folio 154 page 44
still searching for the 1891... one possibility but that would mean another wife for David.
