  On the 1881C (RG11/1552 F90 P27 at 43 to 47 Drapery, Northampton)I have Ellen Stenson, b.abt 1862 in Congelton, Cheshire.
  
  She doesn't show on either the 1901C of any on-line BMD records.
  
  Can someone take a look at the 1871C and 1891C to she if she is listed?

  She's on the 1891 census, aged 29 in the same household listed as a cook, born Northampton.
  
  Can't see any sign of her specifically on the 1861, though there are a couple of possibles. Have you any other details, like names of parents or siblings?
  
  There's a marriage on freebmd Dec 1892, Kettering, 3b 429, of an Ellen Elizabeth Stenson to a George Thomas Knibbs, & if that's her would explain why you can't find her on the 1901.

  Hi,
  The only information which I have are the details on the 1881C. I do not have any details of either siblings or parents and wondered if it was possible to get a clue on these from the 1871/1861Cs. A short while ago I had access to the Ancestry site (home computer crashed and I rely on access to this site from work) but couldn't find a reference on either the 1861 or 1871 censuses and wondered if someone else would have better luck.
  
  The marriage reference which you provide may be the correct one but I have no information as to whether or not it ties in with the Ellen which I have.
