    I have the following family on the 1881C (RG11/3179 F108 P36);

    Edward Stenson, head b.abt 1823 Loughboro
    Mary, wife, b.abt 1823 Leics
    William Gregory, grand son, b. abt 1868, Notts

    Edward died in 1885 and Mary in 1896.

    Can a kind soul please look up the 1871C to see if either of the parents of William Gregory are listed or, if indeed, other siblings/cousins are.
    I would also be interested in finding out where Edward and Mary were on the 1861C.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Thanks very much for the information. I wasn't able to get any access to the web during the weekend, and apologise for posting a late thankyou message to you.

    Thanks to you, I now have a possible 'hit' on the parents to William Gregory and should be able to close the loop through birth records etc.

    Thanks again
