I am trying find find out were my great grandfather and his brother were at the time of the 1891 census.
Both were born on Anglesey - BUT I've been unable to find them.
Their names were:
John Price born 1872 LLangaeinwen (Dwyran) Anglesey. Have been unable to find any trace of John after the 1881 census.
Thomas Price born 1874 LLangeinwen (Dwyran) Anglesey. My great grandfather, Thomas died in 1953 sometime after the coronation.

What are their parents names? Anything to help narrow down the search for a common name! Would the parents have still been alive at the time of later census?
Where did the brothers die?

Their parents names were Willam and Elizabeth Price. William died in 1885 aged 85 and Elizabeth died 1880 aged 45.
Thomas died in 1953 in Anglesy.
I have been unable find anything about John on the 1901 census.

I presume you have Thomas on the 1901? If not, let me know as I have tracked him down. Here is John, I believe.
RG13/5284 Folio 93 Pg 11 Llanllechid Caernarvonshire
? Gate House ?
Jno Price Head Mar 29 Carter of Ag ???? Worker b. Llangeinwen Anglesey Welsh speaker
Ellen Price Wife 30 Llanllechid Caernarvonshire Welsh speaker
William Price Son 6months Llanllechid Caernarvonshire
Again, if you want any images then please do contact me and if you need anything else, you know where I am !
Hope some of this helps. With every entry I am fairly certain that the person transcribed for you is the only one that fits the bill. If there was anyone else that was a possibility I would have posted their details too.

Thanks a lot I've already found Thomas living in the Gaerwen Area of Anglesey.
Apparently he may have come back up north - sometime after the 1891 census, but before the end of 1894.
Thanks everyone

Hu Isobel
I've managed to double check the information on the 1901 census about John Price.
The information you got is correct.
Thanks for the help
John
