On a recent Who do you think.... the was reference to a museum which had a database of every actor/actrees in the UK. Does anyone know where it is?

I would guess the only true database of every actor in hte UK is that which is held by Spotlight...
...It used to be a massive encyclopaedia of actors, now it's a computurised database, but you have to subscribe to have a look.
I cannot see how a museum would have a more accurate database, as Spotlight is the acting trade's main port-of-call for casting.

If memory serves, it was an archive in Bristol. Failing which, the V&A in London (I think) took over the Theatre Museum and may know about related archives. Or you could try reposting this in the Family Trees messageboard.
I remember it now:
The one shown on WDYTYA was the V&A museum on the Cromwell Road in London
