hello everyone smiley - smiley If anyone has access to the 1911 census and wouldn't mind, could you please look up a Sidney Hewson born 1904 living in Grimsby Lincolnshire. I'd like to know what it says about his household as I don't know where and when his father was born. I would really appreciate it smiley - smiley Thanks for reading

hello thanks for that. That does seem like the right family on the 1901 census, they don't like making it easy do they lol putting Howson instead of Hewson.
The reason I was having trouble is because I knew his dad was called Frederick and I knew he was born around 1880 but my family weren't sure if he was born in Grimsby or Barnoldby le beck. As the family did come from Barnoldby originally. When I checked the 1881 census there were 2 Frederick Hewsons one born in 1878 in Barnoldby le beck and one born in Grimsby in 1880. So know it does seen like he was the one born in Grimsby so thank you smiley - smiley

I'm really keen to contact hayley_2004 as my nan is the daughter of Miriam Hewson so would have been Fredericks neice, my nan is still alive and is helping me with our family tree.

Sorry if this is not the right way to put this request in but so excited when I saw this post but was unable to post a response.

You are on the wrong message board, its the family tree board you need to post this message on in the hope that Hayley 2004 still uses that board.
